After an elephantine gestational period The Museum of World Music was born in Vancouver on Nov 21 2015 at the Petley-Jones Gallery.
Building on the techniques of figurative sculpture developed in antiquity, this collection of contemporary sculpture challenges the classical figure by shifting our attention toward the exploration of negative space thus leading us inward.

Will Millar, as the former leader of The Irish Rovers has now returned to his first creative love of painting.
In this he is a voyager into the Ireland of his youth, portraying the country in the 1950’s.
Amelia Alcock-White’s latest collection of aquatic landscapes depicts a lone figure taking refuge in secluded coastal surroundings. By juxtaposing light and dark, fire and water, with nature’s beauty and fragility, the images suggest the interrelation of personal awareness and environmental consciousness.
Drawn to the energy created in composition, Matt’s paintings focus on creating movement through broken down forms and the interplay of colour on the canvas. He attempts to retain the essence of his subject while bringing to it a new dimension through his vibrant palette.
Sounds Good on Paper marked the first solo show of acclaimed Haida artist, Gwaai Edenshaw in March 2012.
