Valerie has just finished her Art Vancouver exhibit with great success. One of her pieces was featured as part the official ad for the Vancouver Art Show. In the artist’s own words, she work[s] hard to develop original works –avoiding trends and following the direction of the work – in the moment.

“My colourful works reflect my love of colour and design”.

We will be showing Sensitive Water Mapping pieces from Amelie Ducommun’s series of mixed media works. Over the last ten years Amelie has focused on water and aquatic landscapes that began in France in front of the grand spectacle of marine landscapes of the Atlantic coast. Later, it continued with more intimate, rivers and mountains in France and Spain. She follows the ephemeral footprints of water.

Her work has been shown in over 60 prestigious exhibits throughout Europe and Asia. Amélie Ducommun was selected to represent France in the 9th painting games of the Francophone in Nice where she won the silver medal.
