Boky Hackel-Ward
Grasping further than my reach, I tried many professional vestments.
From designing jewelry to composing music; from being a recording engineer to being an old master paintings restorer; from being an art dealer representing old masters to North American museums for Maison d’Art in Monaco, while running a contemporary art gallery (MdA Today!), to owning my own gallery (Pocock & Pocock) in Monte Carlo.
Often feeling that the heavens were still too far, I turned back to the safe haven that learning has always been for me. Oxford University offered some wonderful art history courses that were a band-aid for my existential angst.
Eventually, I found myself studying sculpture under Blake Ward.
The rest, as they say, is history….
